Description
HCl is a reducing acid which is very corrosive to carbon steel and most passive alloys. FRP on the
other hand has provided exceptional service even at high temperatures and concentrations, up to the
maximum commercial concentration of about 37% (23º Bè). Concentrated HCI should be kept below
110ºF, but temperatures can go up to 200ºF for the dilute or muriatic grades
