Magnetic Stirrer & Hot Plate combination with 'Thermostat' temperature control. Front panel provides the user with mains switch, Thermostat heat control from 50 to 320deg.C. and speed control for stirring. NOTE: For general boiling of water etc. to overcome heat losses, it is necessary for the plate to achieve maximum temperature of about 450degC, therefore the 'Simmerstat' control model is recommended for this purpose. Rectangular, high temperature alloy top plate 200x180mm with PTFE (Teflon) coating for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.
